What

A fixed-partner doubles Pickleball tournament for recreational Pickleball players.

  • Format: round robin
  • Rating: scores will be submitted to DUPR
  • Guaranteed 4 games.

Registration

  1. Find a partner and have your partner’s name and email ready.
  2. Setup a DUPR account at mydupr.com and have your DUPR ID ready.
  3. Join Atlanta DUPR Pickleball club.

By singing up for this tournament, you are agreeing to the Detail Information and Detail Rules below.

When

  • Start time will be confirmed by email on or before Feb 15, 2024.
  • This tournament could be rescheduled for unforeseen conditions (e.g., unsafe weather conditions). A possible reschedule option is the Sunday, Feb 18 or, Saturday, Feb 24.
  • The amount of time of each bracket is around 3 hours.

Registration

  • A player must
    • have a DUPR ID (located in your DUPR account profile)
    • be a member of Atlanta DUPR Pickleball club for us to submit your scores to DUPR
    • have your partner’s name, DUPR ID, and email.
  • Each partners must sign up separately, and both partners should sign up around the same time.
  • A team registration is completed when both partners are registered. If a team registration is incomplete, other players can take your spot.

Detail Rules

Bracket and Games

  • The average team rating must be at or below the bracket rating. For example,
    a) (3.14+3.82)=3.48 is qualified for 3.5 bracket
    b) (3.14+3.92)=3.53 is overqualified for 3.5 bracket.
  • The rating is based on the average DUPR rating of team partners.
  • Please contact saun@atlantadupr.com before registering if you do not have DUPR rating.
  • If you do not have a DUPR rating, please plan to play in our DUPR round robin matches or Nickajack Monthly Classic (see https://atlantadupr.com).
  • This tournament is age and gender neutral because DUPR is age and gender neutral.
  • The games are self-refereed.
  • Tournament organizer reserves the right to 1) reassign brackets, 2) change game format, 3) change game points.

Refund

  • This tournament is non-refundable and non-transferrable for any reason, including cancelation by the organizer.

Health and Safety Policy

  • Your health and safety is your responsibility. If you don’t feel safe or healthy enough to play, please don’t participate in this event.
