Community Guidelines

Atlanta DUPR Pickleball is a volunteer‑driven community committed to providing free game‑based ratings and high‑quality pickleball play.

Our commitment to offering free services extends to events held at private facilities. Players are responsible only for court fees, which are paid directly to the facilities—100% of these fees go to the facility, not to us. All round‑robin coordination and game organization are provided at no cost.

As a volunteer‑based community, we rely on participants to support our activities and follow the guidelines that help our events run smoothly.

Participant Contributions

At All Facilities

Participants are expected to assist with:

  • Recording scores on scoresheets.
  • Turning in completed scoresheets after all games are finished
  • Providing orientation to new players
  • Making sure that their own scores are written correctly on the scoresheets
  • Treating all players, volunteers and private facility staff with courtesy and respect

At Public Facilities

Participants are expected to volunteer and support in the following areas:

  • Setting up and taking down nets
  • Cleaning courts (often using leaf blowers)
  • Maintaining temporary court lines
  • Contributing to the purchase of shared supplies (e.g., balls, nets, tape, etc.)
