What

A fixed-partner doubles Pickleball tournament for recreational Pickleball players.

  • Team Format:
    • fixed-partner round robin
    • age and gender neutral
  • Rating: scores will be submitted to DUPR

When

  • Sunday, January 21, 2024, 12 pm – 6 pm
Details
  • The actual starting time of each bracket will be available by Thursday, January, 18, 2025, if not sooner.
  • The amount of time of each bracket is around 3 hours.
  • This tournament could be rescheduled for unforeseen conditions (e.g., unsafe weather conditions). A possible reschedule option is Sunday, January 19, 2024.

  • The fee is non-refundable.
  • All proceeds will be used to supplement the operational cost of the free Pickleball activities that we organize as a service to the Pickleball community.

  • The average rating of 2 players of a team can be used to determine the bracket.
  • Each game is played to 11 points win by 2 (or 15 points if everyone in the bracket is agreed).
  • The games are self-refereed.

Atlanta New Year Pickleball Challenge

A fixed-partner team Pickleball tournament for intermediate to advanced pre-professional Pickleball players.

  • Format: round robin followed by playoff games
  • Rating: scores will be submitted to DUPR
  • Prizes: Cash awards up to $400 for gold medal teams

When

  • Sunday, January 7, 2024, 9 am – 5 pm
Details
  • The amount of time of each bracket is around 4 hours.
  • Start time of each bracket will be posted on or before Jan 3, 2024.
  • This tournament could be rescheduled for unforeseen conditions (e.g., unsafe weather conditions). A possible reschedule option is Sunday, Jan 7.

  • DO NOT use Larry Bell Park address at 592 Fairground St, Marietta, GA 30060 for your driving direction.
  • The courts are located near Cobb Civic Center parking lot.
