Atlanta New Year Pickleball Challenge
What
A fixed-partner team Pickleball tournament for intermediate to advanced pre-professional Pickleball players.
- Format: round robin followed by playoff games
- Rating: scores will be submitted to DUPR
- Prizes: Cash awards up to $400 for gold medal teams
When
- Sunday, January 7, 2024, 9 am – 5 pm
Details
- The amount of time of each bracket is around 4 hours.
- Start time of each bracket will be posted on or before Jan 3, 2024.
- This tournament could be rescheduled for unforeseen conditions (e.g., unsafe weather conditions). A possible reschedule option is Sunday, Jan 7.

- Larry Bell Park by Cobb County Civic Center
- Address: 548 S Marietta Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060
Details
- DO NOT use Larry Bell Park address at 592 Fairground St, Marietta, GA 30060 for your driving direction.
- The courts are located near Cobb Civic Center parking lot.
Fee
- $50 per player per bracket
Details
- Refund deadline is Friday, December 29, 2023, 6 pm.
- There is a $15 administrative fee for a refund.
- No refund will be given after Dec 29, 2023, 6 pm

Details
- You must have a DUPR rating, or other rating(s) from playing in tournament(s).
- If you do not have a rating, please plan to play in our DUPR round robin matches.
- The average rating of partners must be less than or equal to the bracket that you are registering.
- The round robin games are played to 11 points win by 2.
- The playoff games are played to 15 points win by 2 .
- The games are self-refereed.
- Tournament organizer reserves the right to 1) change format, 2) reassign brackets, 3) change game points.
Registration
- Find a partner and have your partner’s name and email ready.
- Setup a DUPR account at mydupr.com and have your DUPR ID ready.
- Join Atlanta DUPR Pickleball.

Details
- You must
- have a DUPR ID (located in your DUPR account profile)
- be a member of Atlanta DUPR Pickleball club for us to submit your scores to DUPR
- have your partner’s name, and email.
- Each partners must sign up separately, and both partners should sign up around the same time.
- A team registration is completed when both partners are registered. If a team registration is incomplete, other players can take your spot.
