Nickajack January Pickleball Classic
What
A fixed-partner doubles Pickleball tournament for recreational Pickleball players.
- Team Format:
- fixed-partner round robin
- age and gender neutral
- Rating: scores will be submitted to DUPR
When
- Sunday, January 21, 2024, 12 pm – 6 pm
Details
- The actual starting time of each bracket will be available by Thursday, January, 18, 2025, if not sooner.
- The amount of time of each bracket is around 3 hours.
- This tournament could be rescheduled for unforeseen conditions (e.g., unsafe weather conditions). A possible reschedule option is Sunday, January 19, 2024.

Fee
- $5 (non-refundable)
Details
- The fee is non-refundable.
- All proceeds will be used to supplement the operational cost of the free Pickleball activities that we organize as a service to the Pickleball community.

Details
- You should have a DUPR rating, or other rating(s) from playing in tournament(s).
- If you do not have a rating, please plan to play in our DUPR round robin matches.
- Your rating must be less than or equal to the bracket that you are registering.
- The average rating of 2 players of a team can be used to determine the bracket.
- Each game is played to 11 points win by 2 (or 15 points if everyone in the bracket is agreed).
- The games are self-refereed.
- Tournament organizer reserves the right to 1) change format, 2) reassign brackets, 3) change game points.
Registration
- Find a partner, and have your partner’s name and email ready.
- Setup a DUPR account at mydupr.com, and have your DUPR ID ready.
- Join Atlanta DUPR Pickleball club.

Details
- You must
- have a DUPR ID (located in your DUPR account profile)
- be a member of Atlanta DUPR Pickleball club for us to submit your scores to DUPR
- have your partner’s name, and email.
- Each partners must sign up separately, and both partners should sign up around the same time.
- A team registration is completed when both partners are registered. If a team registration is incomplete, other players can take your spot.
